This contest brought to you by Elindrae, the number 10, and viewers like you!
Our favorite pirate-druid has offered to sponsor the creation of our guild tabard, so now you get to choose what it looks like. Go to any major city, visit the guild tabard vendors, and fiddle around with the settings until you find a tabard design you like. Then take a screenshot and post it here on the forums! Informal discussion of what works and what doesn't may be posted here, then I will choose our new tabard design from the entries. Submit as many designs as you like!

I took 3 shots today of some decent ideas. Hopefully I'll have time to post them tonight or tomorrow morning.

OK! Here's 3 options thus far: (Just so you know, I have a STRONG preference for the last!)

...What the hell...
IS THAT? XD
Well, I'm away from any major WoW city at the moment... I favor something on black or white because it's more likely to match my armor. ^_^ Not a fan of spiders, sorry. (By the way, if Eilon means oak tree or something in Hebrew, the tree would be fitting, I suppose.)
p.s. That should be "ornery gnomeling warlock" in your sig, dear. ((Also, no thanks to Dae for creating a guild name from a common Hebrew word mashed with a nonsensical one no one can spell, so I had a heck of a time remembering this board URL... Then I remembered that I used a different email address to register. Hee! But I digress.))

Thanks Mni... I've a fair-sized LD when it comes to language and mathematics, so although I appreciate accurate, intelligent and sensible use of the language, there are often times where glaring mistakes simply pass me by. There have been times that I've stared at a word for a good five minutes and was unable to even recognize it, much less tell if it was spelled right. I'll make that change though, thank you

I had no idea Eilon was a Hebrew word. >.> Enlighten us? Kaerannis is a respelling of an older character's name, Caeranis. For the rest, and althe titles, I was just playing with sounds and words and back-deriving a language.
I like the 'classical' look of the first. When I'm at home and WoW is installed (might be a few days) I'll post some contenders as well.

Eilon is actually considered a variant: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elon_(name)(Wouldn't worry about it.) Happily--or unhappily, in my case, Kaerannis doesn't exist in Google so it's a bona-fide made-up word. But anyway! Yes, I like the classical look of the first, mainly because the second reminds me of black widows (not a great implication if most of the members are female) and the second is like road kill (or a suspiciously-placed tail). Then again, I'm a druid, so I favor anything leafy. I'd even like a big ol' snowflake on black, if they had that. I'm assuming the guild tabard system prevents us from creating something preexisting...

I like bona fide made-up words. ^_^ There's inexplicable pride in knowing that if anyone searched for Daelaris or Leikaiya, the only returns they'd receive are directly by me.
As far as I know, duplicate tabards are allowed. There are enough designs that it never seems to happen, though.

I like the "classical" look of Coggy's (hee) first option as well, and this odd thing: wowvault.ign.com/?dir=guilds&content=tabards&id=143Depending on how serious the guild intends to be with RP and stuff, we may want to avoid the pirate hat, though that would be amusing. I certainly couldn't take Daeliria seriously if she tried to explain her angst while wearing a pin-up squirrel roadkill on her chest (sorry, Coggy). Much hoppy love, Mnia

Well, I'll vote for anything white/gold on black myself. ... Oh heck. Just pick one, Dae. Need guild contributions?
